The Forest School Leadership qualification takes young people through a range of bushcraft and survival sessions.
Run by a qualified teacher, we cover a range of fire lighting methods, cooking in the wild, shelter building, work with knives, axes and flip saws, orienteering, and expeditions.
We are also able to offer outdoor and adventurous activities including climbing, abseiling, zipwire and shooting. For those young people who require more energetic sessions, we can tailor the course to include assault courses through the woods and boot camp work outs!
Our sessions are focused on developing the young persons communication and leadership skills that will allow them to lead sessions for other children.
Photographic evidence is gathered during each session and these form part of each persons portfolio. On successful completion of all components of the course, they are awarded their Forest School Leadership qualification.
The great outdoors is a fantastic way to work with young people and the therapeutic benefit provides a calming environment their supports their growth and develops their confidence.
